The “ Livendulo ” began more than four years ago in Extremadura, and after passing through Toledo, it crystallises in the old town of Bilbao.  Livendulo means bluish in Latin. It is one of the roots of the word “lavandula ” along with the verb lavare that means wash . So livendulo is a washed blue; Just the color of one of the varieties of lavender, which is the lavendula latifolia or ” espliego” , a native variety very present in the Castilian lands.

Livendulo means talking about lavender, about the wild aromas of Castile. In Livendulo talk about the different lavenders of the all the Mediterranean that unite us, each with its own property, but all linked to the countries bordering the Mediterranean, which in the past were the regions belonged to the Roman Empire in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East
