Ecoaromuz is a family business founded in the mid-90s in Ademuz, a mountainous area in the interior of the Valencian Community. It was born from the idea of recovering land that had been abandoned in recent decades and of doing so with an alternative crop to the traditional crops that existed in the region.

El Rincón de Ademuz has an altitude and an ideal microclimate for the natural and native growth of a multitude of plant species, which made us see that the cultivation of aromatic, medicinal and seasoning plants was a very good alternative for those traditional crops of apples, almonds and cereals.

Living in an area far from any type of industrial pollution allowed us to bet on certified organic farming following the regulations and methods of organic production and transformation dictated by the European Union, avoiding the use of pesticides or chemical products that damage not only the land and aquifers, but also the people who handle them.

For almost 30 years their crops and the extraction of essential oils have been 100% organic and are certified by CAECV.

The enterprise cultivate and process about 15 species of aromatic plants on nearly 100 hectares such as Lavender, Lavender, Lavandin, Thyme, Chamomile from Mahón, Rosemary, Sage, Hyssop… which they dry in our natural drying sheds to obtain a product of the highest quality while preserving its properties intact.

They also distill by steam entrainment respecting the times, temperature and pressure necessary to extract 100% pure, whole and natural essential oils and hydrolates.

This project promotes the conservation and care of the environment, the protection of the wild fauna and flora so abundant in our area, and settles population in rural areas, generating employment since a large part of our processing is manual and artisanal.
