Their work on organic plants began in 1984 in the Roya Valley, in the Alpes Maritimes. Since 2002 we have been located in the Haut Pays de Grasse, at an altitude of 1100 m, in the town of Valderoure, 45 minutes above Grasse and about 1 hour from Nice, on the border of the departments of Var and Alpes de Haute Provence. They will find on this site their different productions, as well as special products (some essential oils, vegetable oils, some hydrosols) that have not been produced on site but have been selected by us, according to their criteria. So they work with a network of different plant growers. All the Mother Tinctures, all the Gemmotherapy extracts, all the solar macerations, all the Cosmetics, and about fifteen Essential Oils and Hydrosols are made on site.

They have, on site, a food supplement laboratory, a cosmetics laboratory, a 1000-litre still fed by a steam boiler running on wood. All their extracts are bottled by hand. Their quality assessment criteria are based on sensory approaches (which mainly use the olfactory sense), not on analytical criteria, although they have analytical data for each of the products.They have understood that the quality of a product cannot be evaluated by analytical methods alone. Criteria of a different kind must come into play.

On site, they have about 4.5 hectares, in organic cultivation (Ecocert Control, Nature and Progress Label) and biodynamic (Demeter Label): the plants are intended either for distillation or for the manufacture of mother tinctures, gemmotherapy extracts, sun macerations, essential oils and hydrosols. The main plants grown here are Blackcurrant, Purple Echinacea, Lavender, Cornflower, Hyssop canescens (decumbens type, 0% pinocamphone), Common thyme with thujanol, Valerian officinale, Calendula officinal, California poppy… All these plants are population crops, i.e. from seeds, not clones. The seeds are taken from their own crops or from wild plants.

They also take many wild plants from their land (about 67 hectares) for gemmotherapy, mother tinctures and solar macerations.
