Lavanda Real was born in 2020 with the idea of bringing new colour and life to the land of the Moraña region and becoming the first lavender experience in the entire province of Ávila. An idea fostered and promoted by its founder, Hermógenes Legido. The beginnings are important for Lavanda Real generating great expectation both locally and nationally after attending various fairs.

Lavanda Real quickly became the brand destined to produce and elaborate Lavender-based products, a reference in the sector, with an indispensable premise, quality and brand as the basis of everything.

As is known, Isabella I of Castile, the Catholic, was born in the palace of John II in Madrigal and resided in Arévalo, hence the birth of our brand “Lavanda Real”.

The lavender fields are located on the road between Madrigal de las Altas Torres and Arévalo, specifically in a small town of 100 inhabitants called Castellanos de Zapardiel. It has more than 20 hectares of its own lavender production. The fields are located on a Roman Villa, today you can still see remains among the floors of what was a Roman settlement.

From mid-June and for approximately two months, people, individually or in couples, families, groups of friends, etc., will be able to enjoy the “Concert of the five senses” (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) that is presented before their eyes with an invisible orchestra. And this moment, direct and face-to-face, is one of the best gifts that lavender gives us, being highly recommended, to position yourself half an hour before sunset or sunset, since the atmosphere, the light and the general atmosphere that is created undergo a special transformation, which must be enjoyed and taken advantage of to immortalize in images. It is a pity that this miracle that nature, proudly, offers to our senses, has a limited splendor and no more than two months, crowns with the harvesting of the plant for the commercialization of the flower.
